People shown enjoying a classic picnic at the "Cruise-In" with the Old Conoco Station in the background.  People come from all over the nation to show their cars and enjoy the activities.

The Cruise-In is fun for the entire family, and there are lots of activities planned for young and old alike.  Pontiac is a very quaint town on the Vermilion River, and has lots of activities, parks, shops, and events to keep families active and having a GREAT time!

Each June (always the Saturday of  Father's Day weekend) Pontiac hosts the Hang Loose Weekend.  The entire town literally is transformed into the 1950's.  There are activities for young and old alike, including canoeing on the Vermilion River, craft fairs, bands, activities, Adopt a Duck Race, and of-course the highlight is the Car Show where antique vehicles (and some special newer vehicles) are displayed.  We have Gear heads, antiques, hot rods, and perfectionists.  Some may even be for sale- so bring your wallet!
